WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Former Purdue basketball forward Robbie Hummel will don the Gold and Black this summer with the Men of Mackey, Purdue Alumni's team in this summer's TBT basketball tournament.
Hummel addressed the media Tuesday, and shared his expectations for the late July tournament.
"I'm excited to play with the guys," said Hummel. "I think Ryne [Smith] coaching is something that-to get to play for him will be really fun. Even when he yells at me, which I'm sure he will."

The alumni squad is entering its second year of competition in the single-elimination, winner-take-all tournament.
The Men of Mackey's roster is made up of mostly former Purdue players, including Isaac Haas, Jon Octeus, and AJ Hammons. A full roster can be found HERE.
Hummel, a current member of Team USA's 3-on-3 basketball team, missed the Olympics in this year's qualifying tournament.
During his time with Purdue, the Valparaiso native Hummel was named to the All-Big Ten First Team three times (2008, 2010, 2012). He was a Second-team State Farm Coaches All-American, and a two-time Honorable mention AP All-American.
