Rain showers and isolated storms return for much of Monday.

This Afternoon:

We've seen the rain return within the past hour this Sunday. The showers are in association with a larger system that we have been tracking since yesterday. As this system continues to trek northeast, it will bring continuous showers into the forecast.

Showers and isolated storms will stick around through the remainder of the evening.

The temperature tonight will drop town to a low of 60 degrees here in Lafayette. Showers and storms will continue through the overnight.

Grab the umbrella as you head out to start the workweek. The showers and storms look to stick around through much of the morning commute and into the late evening.

The wet streak will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday before clearing conditions return starting Thursday.
