Purdue Hosting Career Fair

Purdue is hosting a career fair, aimed at filling needed positions throughout the University.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue is hosting a career fair, aimed at filling needed positions throughout the University today.

The fair will be held at John T. McCutcheon Residence Hall 400 in West Lafayette, from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
The careers the university is interested in filing are finance, clerical, dining, IT, custodial and more.

Director of Environmental and Regulatory information patent systems, Mike Hill says they are wanting passionate developers.
"We are seeking two application developer positions," said Hill. "That are able to do programming and work with data basis."

He is also looking for a mobile app developer for IOS and Android apps.

The career fair will be providing computers to help throughout the application process.

Jason Grussing an attendee at the fair says he hoping to fill in the position for a student success coach.
"The biggest thing for me is being able to work with people and being able to live life with them from day to day. I hope I can do that," said Grussing.

The event will include a Q&A session, an overview of the hiring process, and advice on how to improve your resume skills.
