FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WLFI) — Purdue has added the first piece of its 2022 recruiting class.
Fletcher Loyer, a three-star, class of 2022 shooting guard from Homestead high school, committed to the Gold and Black on Monday.

The 6'5 Loyer chose Purdue over eight other offers, including Michigan and Notre Dame.
His older brother, Foster Loyer, is a junior guard at Michigan State.
Last year, before his transfer to Homestead, Fletcher tallied over 20 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He shot 48% from three-point range. Fletcher and the Clarkston Wolves finished (21-1) overall before the pandemic canceled the 2020-21 basketball season in Michigan.
