WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Bangladesh Artist Festival brought people from all over the world to Purdue University on Saturday.
The festival provided live concerts and authentic food for guests. Renowned Bangladeshi bands and musicians came to perform.

Event leaders say it's all about showcasing their culture and giving the Bangladesh community a taste of home.
Bangladesh Student Association General Secretary Masudur Rahman said West Lafayette brings lots of diversity.
“I was so surprised and amazed by the diversity that we have here,” said Rahman. “It's a small city on the map but if you see inside the university it's really not small so you will see people from everywhere, from every corner of the world.”
This is the second event hosted by the Bangladesh Student Association. Rahman said they plan to host an event every semester after seeing its popularity in the community.
