WEST LAFAYETTE -- Colleges and academic units from Purdue University have joined a virtual food drive to help struggling families.
Normally, the college would collect food in person, but they're switching to an online approach this year.
The virtual drive will seek monetary donations.
All proceeds will benefit Food Finders Food Bank.
According to Food Finders, every dollar donated translates into roughly three meals.
The virtual food drive will run through April 17th.
