WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Purdue announced Monday the cancelation of the 2020 Purdue Farmers Market. The cancellation is in alignment with Protect Purdue event guidelines.
The Purdue Farmers Market is organized by Purdue Campus Planning and Sustainability in conjunction with Greater Lafayette Commerce. The market typically takes place every Thursday from May through October at Memorial Mall on campus.

“We will miss having the Farmers Market on campus this year, but the health of our community comes first,” says Michael Gulich, director of campus planning and sustainability and university architect. “We are looking forward to the time when the market can return to campus.”
The Purdue Farmers Market is one of three local market locations. The two other farmers markets (Lafayette Farmers Market and West Lafayette Farmers Market) are currently operating with health and safety guidelines in place.
