WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue President Mitch Daniels is reaching out to students through the computer. A video message posted online is sending good wishes to Purdue Students.
Sunday was supposed to be the last day of spring break before classes resumed. However, Purdue has made the decision to cancel in-person classes for the rest of the semester. As well as event such as the Purdue Center of Cancer Research 5K, the Purdue Grand Prix Race, and graduation.
President Daniels is asking students to be patient as problems are worked through with remote learning.
"We know that no amount of thought and preparation from this week will suffice, there will be problems next week and there will be difficulties, new questions that you bring to our attention," he said in the message.
President Daniels is encouraging students to give constructive feedback about the new course structure, and to check the Purdue University website for frequently asked questions about the coronavirus situation.
