Police seek information on cemetery vandalism

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) -- The Burlington Police Department is hoping someone can come forward with a tip after widespread vandalism at a local cemetery.

As many as 40 headstones were damaged or destroyed at Ball Hill Cemetery in Carroll County. 

Most were covered with spray paint, but a few had also been smashed.

Investigators say it happened some time between 4:45 p.m. on Sunday and 8:00 a.m. Monday.

Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call Burlington Town Hall at 765-566-3672.
