WLPD releases weekend football arrest statistics

Purdue's last home football game made for a busy weekend for West Lafayette police. It included what police are calling a prank bomb threat to a fast food restaurant.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Purdue's last home football game made for a busy weekend for West Lafayette police.

From Friday to Sunday, WLPD took 195 calls for service and arrested nine people. That's five more arrests than the last home football game weekend.

Those include three arrests for operating while intoxicated and two arrests for battery.
