LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Multiple shots were fired into a Lafayette apartment early Wednesday morning, according to Sgt. Mike Brown.
About 3:50 a.m., Lafayette police were called to the 1400 block of Elizabeth Street. Someone reported between 8-10 shots were fired. When police arrived, officers found damage to an apartment, including a broken window.
Brown said nobody was hurt, and police are continuing to investigate. He said multiple shell casings were found outside the apartment. Police are unsure how many people were involved.
