Police arrest 4 after shots fired outside Lafayette apartments

Police have arrested four people after someone reportedly fired gunshots outside of a Lafayette apartment complex Sunday.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Police have arrested four people after someone reportedly fired gunshots outside of a Lafayette apartment complex Sunday.

It happened around 5 p.m. outside of Briarwood Apartments.

Lt. Jay Rosen said police were called to an area on Windemere Drive for a report of shots fired.

Bullets damaged a few buildings, but no one was injured.

Police arrested William Todd, Delray Jackson, Devin Haney and Jailand Haney.

Todd faces charges of dealing and possessing narcotics and marijuana. He also faces a charge of maintaining a common nuisance.

Jackson faces charges of possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance.

Devin Haney and Jailand Haney face charges of visiting a common nuisance.

The investigation is ongoing. More arrests could be made and more charges could be added for the four already arrested.
