WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI)- A 22-year-old is in the hospital after jumping out of a moving vehicle on West Shafer Drive near Indiana Beach Road.
Police say 19-year-old Lillyanne King was driving the vehicle when it happened.
William Maack was riding in the back seat of the jeep when he opened the door while the vehicle was moving and jumped out.
Maack then landed in the road and suffered head trauma.
He was later transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
According to a release by the White County Sheriff, other passengers reported an argument between Maack and another passenger.
This case is still under investigation.
