Power restored to Battle Ground after morning outage

Nearly 300 people in Battle Ground are without power and have been since 8 this morning.

BATTLE GROUND, Ind. (WLFI)— UPDATE: According to the Duke Energy's website, power has been restored to Battle Ground.

Previous story: Nearly 300 people in Battle Ground are without power and have been since 8 this morning. 

Dan Rhodes with Duke Energy said there was a transmission outage in the area and workers are trying to pinpoint the cause. Rhodes said workers are currently working to energize parts of the circuit in order to restore power.

Duke Energy's website says customers should have regained power around 11:30 this morning. However, he said that time is a computerized time and not completely accurate.
