WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Purdue Christmas show will look different this year. The annual event will hold its first virtual production.
The show will include fifteen musical numbers around Purdue's campus. More than 300 performers came together to make this possible.
The music and visuals had to be prerecorded due to Covid concerns.
The completed video will be available free to watch on December 19.
Assistant Director, Jake Stensberg, says keeping this tradition alive is part of Purdue's spirit.
"You know, it's not just the people who are employed by PMO," Stensberg told News 18. "We're not the only ones who need that in our lives. There are thousands of people that see the show every year and come back here year after year. We didn't want to let them down."
The video will remain available until January 1st. You can watch it by clicking here.
WLFI will broadcast 2019's show at 6 A.M. Christmas Day.
