One shot fired in West Lafayette liquor store robbery

Police are asking the public's help in finding the person responsible for an armed robbery in West Lafayette Friday night.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Police are asking the public's help in finding the person responsible for an armed robbery in West Lafayette Friday night.

It happened just before midnight at the Village Bottle Shop on Howard Ave. That is right off River Road. Police said one shot was fired, and no one was injured. 

Police said they don't have a good description because the person came into the store with all but their eyes covered.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Lafayette police or the anonymous We-Tip hotline at 1 (800) 78-CRIME.
