CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Around 9:45 p.m. Monday evening a crash on I-65 involving three vehicles sent two people to the hospital. Preliminary investigation by Trooper Jeremy Piers states, on I-65 northbound near mile marker 159 (Just south of St Rd 28 Exit) a Mack dump truck was heading northbound when the driver, Ryan Watson, 25 of Indianapolis failed to slow for traffic that was stopped for the construction work. He allegedly rear-ended a Jeep SUV driven by Bozena Chaboki, 47 of Lemont, IL. The truck pushed that vehicle into the left lane and continued on hitting a GMC SUV driven by Amy Arnold, 50 of Lafayette, pushing it into the right lane.
The juvenile passenger from the Jeep was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver was transported by ambulance to IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette with what also appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck, Arnold and her passenger we not injured.
