Wednesday's highs reached low 50s over much of the viewing area with lots of sun, but a cool, brisk east-northeast to northeast wind.

Thick cloud cover will overspread area tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 50s with an east-southeast wind.

There will likely be a band of virga associated with this thick cloud cover (virga = precipitation that is drying up on the way down).  With the air being so dry, none of it will likely hit the ground, but there will be streaks & mamma pouches of the more moist, rain-cooled air emanating from the mid-level overcast from the virga.  it in the sky & it will likely show up on radar.

If we can moisten things up more, then we might squeeze a few sprinkles & even showers from it.  I am keeping it dry pending more data overnight.  Make sure to check back in with Anne in the morning & I will update the blog by midday to early afternoon.

With gray skies, showers should increase Friday, with brisk east-northeast winds & highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

Total rainfall for Friday-Friday evening looks to vary from 0.04" in the north to as much as 0.35" in the far south.

If I had to pick a day to have a bonfire or do a corn maze, I'd pick Saturday.  Sunday will turn wet.  Any rainfall Saturday looks isolated with some peeks of sun.  Saturday will be the warmer & less windy of the two weekend days, it appears.

Sunday's rainfall totals should be fairly light at 0.15-0.30".

Halloween features a warm-up!  After 58-63 Tuesday with lots of sun (the pick of the week!), Halloween will feature increasing clouds & windy conditions of 20-30 mph from the south to southwest.  Highs of 63-67 are likely with showers increasing during the evening.  I cannot even rule out a t'shower or two.

After rainfall & isolated thunder Wednesday night-early Thursday.  Thursday afternoon should improve with some sunshine, windy conditions from the west & highs near 50 to the 50s.
