It still appears that the same pattern will tend to dominate November-April with above to well-above normal precipitation projected here & over the Northern Plains to Northern Rockies to Pacific Northwest & Western Canada.  Some massive snowfalls are possible with greatly increased avalanche threat.  The Pacific Northwest will have a big flood & heavy snow threat.

California to Florida & the Carolinas still looks unusually dry with increasing wildfire danger.

Our flood risk & cool-season severe weather risk will be higher than normal.

November-April overall regime features below to well-below temperatures from Alaska to western Canada, the Pacific Northwest to the Northern Rockies & Northern Plains.  We look to average warmer than normal, as does the Southeast U.S., Southern Plains & Southwest U.S.

January looks like the coldest month, however of the 6-month period.
