There has been a lot of wind damage with multiple gusts near 80 mph in northern Illinois & southern Wisconsin within the SLIGHT RISK area.
SLIGHT RISK of severe is up for areas north of IN 18 in the area & MARGINAL RISK elsehwere over the next couple of hours.
Fast-moving squall line runs from Attica to Winamac & will race through Greater Lafayette soon.
Any small kinks in the uniform line may produce isolated severe gust &/or brief tornado spin-up. It could be so brief that it occur between radar scans & no warning issued, so be aware.
Right now, subtle kink/node is moving through northeastern Benton to western White & another is developing west of Williamsport, racing northeastward.

40 mph Rensselaer-Jasper County Airport
Temperatures will tank rapidly from the 70-74 range to the 50s with passage of the line.
Showers will occur for a time behind the line with strong northwest winds gusting +40 mph at times. Temperatures will fall to the 37-42 range by early tomorrow morning.
