WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The weekend is here. WLFI has you covered with your News 18 This Morning Weekend Planner for 6/26 to 6/28.

Indiana Beach

Indiana Beach is now open for the 2020 season.

The park is hosting a soft opening for VIP members Friday. On Saturday, the park will begin operations with COVID-19 in mind.

Indiana Beach will be operating at 50% park capacity until July 4th in an effort to keep the virus from spreading.

Guests will have their temperature checked before entering the park. Visitors are also being asked to use hand sanitizing stations and are being asked to stay six feet away from anyone not in their party.

You can find a link to tickets along with the park's health guidlines and daily hours by clicking here.

Garth Brooks Makes Virtual Stop in Monticello

Country legend Garth Brooks is coming to the big screen Saturday.

As part of a summer drive-in series, the country music icon is having a virtual concert at Monticello's Lake Shore Drive-In.

The show will also air at 300 drive-ins across the country as a way to provide entertainment during the ongoing pandemic.

The concert runs 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

All tickets were sold at last check.

Indiana Fiddler's UnGathering 2020

The pandemic isn't stopping Indiana fiddlers from getting together.

The annual event will look at little different this year. For the first time ever the event will be streamed as the Indiana Fiddler's UnGathering.

The UnGathering will be held online Sunday as part of their "Wish You Were Here Tour."

The virtual tour includes top-notch performers like The Goats' Beards and the Ozark Highballers.

The event is free but due to artists losing numerous bookings and sources of income, there will be a chance to donate to The Fiddler Relief Fund.

Click here to find that along with the prerecorded stream to the event.
