Boilermaker Half-Marathon & 5K
Purdue University is hosting its 8th annual half-marathon and 5k race Saturday.
The half-marathon course begins 8:00 a.m. outside Ross-Ade stadium, then runs through different parts of the university, Lafayette and West Lafayette. If you're not feeling up for a half marathon, stick to the 5k race on campus.
Proceeds from the event go to Purdue Athletics Life Success Program for youth.
Over $70,000 has been raised for the underserved youth of Tippecanoe County. Registration is available at the race.
100 Men Who Cook
Clear your schedules and make sure your stomach is empty. Saturday is the delicious 100 Men Who Cook fundraiser.
One hundred of Greater Lafayette's most notable men will be cooking up their favorite dishes to share. This year's theme is Tailgate Party.
You can catch the party 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Legacy Courts in Lafayette. Tickets are $65 per person. Money raised benefits LTHC Homeless Services.
The Night of the Living Rose
The Rose Garden is presenting its annual drag show.
Twelve talented drag queens will take to the Lafayette Theater's stage for an evening of performances and horror.
You can get in on the fun by dressing up in a costume to take part in the costume contest.
This is the first year the show is being held at the Lafayette Theater.
Tickets are $10 a person. Tables are first come first serve. You can order your ticket online or pay at the door. This is an 18+ event.
Purdue Basketball Fan Day
You have the chance to meet players from the Purdue men's and women's basketball teams this weekend. Both teams will hold their annual Fan Day Saturday.
The event is free and open for anyone to enjoy. It's the perfect chance to meet the players face-to-face and get an autograph.
Doors open at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Mackey Arena.
2019 Potters Market
The Greater Lafayette Clay Guild is hosting their annual Potters Market Saturday.
If you're looking for handmade pottery, this is the place for you.
Vendors show up with everything from functional items to contemporary art pieces.
Admission into the event is free but each vendor has their own prices for their items. The event runs 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.at the YWCA gymnasium.
