Pink Floyd Light Spectacular
The Long Center will be celebrating 50 years of Pink Floyd with a multi-media laser and light show this Saturday.
The music event promises to feature Pink Floyd's music "like you've never seen before."
Laser glasses will also be included to take the show over the top.
Doors open Saturday at 7 p.m. The show begins at 8 p.m.
Main floor tickets are $32.50 a person and second floor tickets cost $28.50.
Lunar New Year 2020
The Purdue Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center is hosting their annual Lunar New Year Celebration over the weekend.
Join the Purdue community Saturday in a celebration full of activity booths, a Chinese performing arts troupe, rtaekwondo and a lion dance.
Bring an empty stomach. Event leaders say there will be plenty of new food to try out.
AAARCC Director Pamela Sari says her favorite part of the event is showcasing the diversity of how people celebrate across Asia. " I think it's very important for me and for the AAARCC to showcase that diversity" she told News 18.
This year marks the year of the rat. According to the Chinese zodiac, the rat's personality is outgoing, cheerful and sociable in character.
The celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Purdue CoRec Feature Gym. The event is free and anyone is welcome to attend.
Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry
The Purdue Ag Alumni Association is hosting their annual fish fry Saturday. It will be held at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
Ranveer Chandra will be this year's guest speaker. Chandra is the Chief Scientist as Microsoft Azure Global.
Tickets for the event are on sale for $25. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Round-trip bus transportation is available from West Lafayette for $10 per person.
