WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)— The weekend is here. WLFI has you covered with your News 18 This Morning Weekend Planner for 11/15 to 11/17.

Peace, Love & Classical

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock and Lafayette wants to help you celebrate.

You can relive the 1960s at the Long Center for the Performing Arts this Saturday.

Purdue's Black Voices of Inspiration will be performing along with songs featured by various artists and from different musicals. There will also be special tributes to leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and J.F.K.

The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Purdue Volleyball

Purdue's volleyball team will be hard at work this weekend.

The Gold and Black will be taking on Ohio State Friday in Holloway Gymnasium.

Last time the Boilermakers took on the Buckeyes, Purdue walked away with the win.

The ladies will then turn around and take on Maryland this Saturday at 7 p.m. At last check, tickets are sold out on Purdue Athletic's website.

Candy Cane Tour

Have you ever wondered how candy canes are made? Starting Friday you have the chance to learn.

McCord Candies is starting up its Candy Cane tours for the holiday season.

You can join the tour on Fridays from 5:30-8:30 p.m. or on Saturday and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.

Tours last about 45 minutes and that includes a candy cane to take home.

Tours are just $5 a person and last until December 23rd.

Cranksgiving 2019

Grab your bike and bundle up for Cranksgiving 2019. Cranksgiving is part bike race and part food drive.

Ride around Greater Lafayette streets and trails to search for specific ingredients to put together a Thanksgiving dinner.

Once you've found all your items and head back to the finish line, the food will be donated to those in need in the community.

The event will begin and end at the rear entrance to People's Brewing Company. This event is free to take part in, but you'll need $15 to $20 to purchase food.

Donations will support Food Finders Food Bank.

Cranksgiving is a national event that occurs in nearly 100 cities across the United States.

Lafayette Roller Derby

The Lafayette Roller Derby team is back at it. This Saturday they'll be taking on the Illiana Derby Dames.

A portion of all 2019 ticket sales support local charities throughout Greater Lafayette.

You can catch the match at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds.

Tickets are $10 ahead of time or $12 at the door. Kids get in free.

Doors open at 6:00. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m.

Purdue Women's Basketball

The Purdue Women's Basketball team takes on Western Illinois Sunday in Mackey Arena.

It's also bring-a-friend day. Season-ticket holders will receive two free vouchers for the Lower Value Reserved section.

Tip off is set for 2:00 p.m. Tickets range from $5 to $10.
