WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)— The weekend is here. WLFI has you covered with your News 18 This Morning Weekend Planner for 11/08 to 11/10.

Winterization 2019

A group of Purdue University students is making sure the community is ready for Winter.

Saturday morning groups of Boilermakers will help out with winterizing tasks for those in need across Tippecanoe County. Volunteers will be doing everything from cleaning gutters to trimming shrubs.

Saturday the group is hoping to help over 400 elderly and disabled residents.

Purdue Men's Basketball

Head on over to Mackey Arena to watch the Purdue men take on Texas Saturday.

Tickets are available for $75 in the upper section. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.

Fun fact; the Purdue Men's basketball team hasn't lost a home game since February back in 2018.

Frank Muffin Band

A local rock band will be jamming for charity Saturday. The concert will benefit the Henry House pilot program.

The Frank Muffin band is a Lafayette-based band known for their Mosey Down Main Street performances. This will be the third annual charity show for the band. This show will feature Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours."

Tickets start at $15. The concert kicks off Saturday at 8 p.m.

Take a Picture with Santa

Santa is taking a little time off from the workshop to take pictures with good boys and girls at the Tippecanoe Mall.

Jolly Saint Nick will arrive in Lafayette Friday.

He will be available for pictures throughout November and December leading up to Christmas. Click here if you'd like to grab a fast pass early.

Be sure to mark your calenders! Santa will be available for pictures with your pet on December first.
