WHITESTOWN, Ind. (WLFI) — Multiple people, including two Whitestown Metro police officers, are recovering this midday.
Around 1 this morning, three officers made a traffic stop on I-65 in Boone County. During the stop, another vehicle hit one of the officer's vehicle, causing a domino effect of crashes.

Two officers, the driver who caused the crash, and a passenger from the original stop were all taken to the hospital. One of the officers was treated for a minor concussion. The other one has a broken bone and whiplash and is expected to be released later today.
Alcohol is considered to be a contributing factor at this time
