LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—Mosey Down Main Street is a series of street celebrations brought to you by the local artistic community.
Volunteers, downtown business owners, artists and musicians came together to offer a free family friendly event.
There were three stages of music, outdoor food, beer, and wine sales as well as street performers, balloon animals and more.
Steve Bultinck said it's a great way to get the community out.
"You can get people out in the community that probably don't have that opportunity otherwise," said Bultinck. "So this gives them a chance to get out, you'll see caregivers out here with somebody because you know they can take somebody in a chair out here and enjoy."
As News 18 reported, the first Mosey Down Main St. was set to take place in May. Unfortunately due to weather conditions event organizers had to cancel amid high winds and heavy rain. Since then there have been four Mosey events from the month of June through August.
Saturday's Mosey lasted until 11 p.m.
