WASHINGTON D.C. (WLFI) — The two turkeys President Donald Trump will pardon this week have arrived in Washington.
The annual pardoning of turkeys is a tradition that celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.
According to the White House, the two turkeys were raised in Western Minnesota.
They will join turkeys pardoned by former president Barack Obama at Virginia Tech's "Gobblers Rest" exhibit.
Right now, they are staying in style at the Willard Hotel, as is the tradition.
