TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) -- Monday's message of hope is from the president of the Tippecanoe Building and Construction Trades Council, Steve Snyder.
His message is transcribed below with the video above.
"To the over 3,500 women and men who make up the Tippecanoe building, trades, construction council, I personally want to say thank you for your efforts going forward. Your unmatched skills are helping build communities across our area like the project behind me. The underground storage water tank for the city of Lafayette which will supply over 3,000,000 gallons of potable, fresh water to the downtown area and the park area. Without the skills of our carpenters, our pipe-fitters, our electricians these projects would not get done. It's imperative to our economy and our safety and health that we move forward with these projects. We recently had the opportunity to flip the AC Delco plant in Kokomo from making auto-parts to ventilators to fight the Covid-19. This took a lot of hours, a lot of work and our skilled trades were on site to make that happen. Again I want to say thank you for your efforts and to keep going forward."
