WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A #MeTooPurdue march on Purdue's campus will be held on Tuesday. The march is being held to stand in solidarity with sexual violence survivors.
The march will start at 6 p.m. on Slayter Hill and end at Krach Lawn, where there will be a candlelight vigil. As News 18 Previously reported, groups on Purdue's campus are pushing for change in the face of an uptick of reported sexual assaults.
The #MeTooPurdue movement started after an alleged rape on September 18 at Zeta Beta (Tow)Tau. Purdue sororities canceled events with fraternities until just a few days ago. That's when fraternity members were required to complete a sexual assault education program.
