TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The only Democrat running for Tippecanoe Superior Court 4 Judge is feeling confident about winning. Matthew Boulac officially launched his campaign at the Tippecanoe County Democrat headquarters on February 13. Boulac told News 18 voters will hear him out and elect him.
According to Boulac's campaign site, he has practiced law for nearly 15 years. He currently serves as the IV-D Commissioner in Tippecanoe County and hears child support and paternity cases.
He offers what change he would like to make to the court.
"What id like to do is starting looking at a mental health court and seeing if that is a viable option in Tippecanoe County. We already have a drug court. In my experience as a commissioner and DCS attorney drug addiction is always underlined by mental health problems," said Boulac.
As News 18 previously reported Current Tippecanoe Superior 4 Judge Laura Zeman is retiring.
