LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The final plans to revamp Five Points in Lafayette are complete.
The master plan was unveiled at the Redevelopment Commission meeting Thursday. The plan addresses traffic patterns throughout the area, potential development and connectivity.
City leaders said the plan is really a 20-year vision for that part of Lafayette. They say it's an attractive area, located between downtown and Columbian Park.
"We've received a lot of interest in people doing something up in that area to help connect those two areas and to really leverage the assets in that area. So, we're very happy to see the residents engaged in the area and also the development community," said Dennis Carson, Director of Economic Development.
The next step in the process is to start implementing elements of the plan.
