A few showers are in the area now.

There are a few more in south-central Illinois as a weak cold front approaches.

I would not rule out rumbles of thunder & lightning as a few more showers develop in our area over the next few hours.  Best potential for thunder & lightning is over Montgomery & southern Clinton counties.

The main area of heavy rainfall & t'storms with severe weather is south of our area, however.

Once these exit after 3 a.m., patchy fog may develop.  Areas that have moisture on roadways & drop to 32 could see patchy black ice.

Tuesday will be windy with highs 47-54 with variable clouds & a couple of isolated showers as a cold front passes.

Next good potential of widespread is Sunday night-Monday.  Anything prior to that would tend to be brief & isolated to spotty.

Friday looks like the coldest day.  Periods of strong winds will occur Tuesday-Monday.

Only potential of snowflakes is late Tuesday night to early Wednesday morning & again Friday morning.
