Band of heaviest snow in the area looks to be only 5 miles wide in places.  Totals in the band were 3-4" from south of Fowler to West Lafayette area to south of Tipton.  This was part of a narrow line of 3-6" from south of Bloomington, Illinois to south of Anderson, Indiana.

Up to 5.5" fell south of Anderson & up to 4.2" south of Bloomington, Illinois.  3.8" was measured southwest of Ambia & just east of Hoopeston, Illinois.  Up to 5.0" was reported in band over western Ohio.

After 3.5" snow yesterday at our WLFI ob site, the depth this morning is 1.5" from all of the melting.

Got a report from southwest of Monticello of depth down from 2.5" yesterday to 0.9" this morning from the melting.

I received this message from one of our dedicated spotters, Randy Rogers, from the east side of Frankfort:

We headed to relatives in Parke County today.
It was amazing to see the snow differences as we traveled.

It was a total whiteout from Frankfort through Colfax. Once we turned south it got less and less until on 47 through
Darlington, just a dusting.

On the way home tonight, no snow on the ground much until we got north of 47 again.

I had 2" as of 10:00 a.m. but then we left.

I still have 2.5" on the ground out back after melting. From what I can tell before that and from others here today,
we had 3" or 3.50" on the ground around 1:00 p.m. before melting more.
