BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A manhunt in two local counties led to the arrest of a man in connection to a Louisville homicide.
On Wednesday morning, Thorntown police conducted a traffic stop for aggressive driving on I-65 in Boone County. Police said the driver, Kameron Butler, refused to pull over and continued driving into Clinton County.
Butler crashed the car and ran. Police found him hiding under a bridge near the rest-stop at Thorntown.
Officers say Butler was driving a stolen vehicle that belonged to a Louisville woman who was killed Monday night.
Police say Butler is a "person of interest" in the homicide.
