LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The identity of a man who was found unresponsive in the road on Ferry Street has been released. According to Carrie Costello Chief Deputy Coroner at Tippecanoe County Coroner's Office, the body was local resident 45-year-old Eric King.
The office is still waiting for the toxicology reports, which can take from four to six weeks, to finalize the autopsy report. Carrie said the reports states Eric was on a moped and it was an accident that led to him being unresponsive in the street.
