LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A Lafayette man will spend six and a half years in prison on federal child pornography possession charges.
David L. Adams, 62, was sentenced to 78 months, followed by five years of supervised release.
Investigators were tipped off by the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force. It reported dozens of videos containing child pornography were observed from an IP address that was later tied to Adams home.
A search warrant uncovered more explicit images and videos. The US Attorney's office said Adams arrived home while the warrant was being executed and tried to flee, nearly hitting several agents with his car.
