LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Lafayette police have arrested a man after he was accused of demanding cash at the Olive Garden on South Street in Lafayette.

According to Lafayette police Sgt. Matt Gard, 18-year-old Isaiah Binford walked into the restaurant around 7 p.m. Monday. He demanded money and allegedly pulled a rock from his pocket and threw it at a pregnant employee.

Police said he then walked toward the seating area and threw a potted plant at a customer and a table kiosk at another employee.

Binford did not get away with any money. Police said they arrested him after finding him walking along South Street.

He faces preliminary charges of attempted strong armed robbery and battery. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Binford is currently being held in the Tippecanoe County Jail.
