MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) — A suspect in an explosion in White County has been arrested. According to officials, on Sept 13, police received a 911 call about an explosion inside a vehicle on North Lakewood Drive in Monticello. Law enforcement discovered a 2006 white Toyota Tundra with severe damage inside the cab of the truck. Further investigation led officials to determine a mortar-like firework had been detonated inside the truck.
After detectives conducted interviews and surveillance video in the area, a felony warrant was issued for the arrest of Wayne L.T. Boswell, a 32-year-old male of Monticello, IN, in connection with the explosion.
Boswell was arrested by ISP and is currently being held at the White County Jail, on the charge of Arson, Level 4 Felony. His bond is currently set at $20,000.
