CARROLL AND CASS COUNTIES, Ind. (WLFI) — A Logansport man could be sentenced to more than 100 years behind bars for a child molestation case. It allegedly happened in both Cass and Carroll Counties.
Cass County Prosecutor Noah Shafer said 37-year-old Jeremy Davidson faces four felony counts of child molestation. That's two in each county where the crimes allegedly happened.
Shafer said due to the sensitive nature of the case, he could not share any more details.
However, he did tell News 18 there were two victims, and that the crimes had been ongoing for quite some time.
Davidson was also issued a probation violation warrant for a felony child neglect conviction in 2015.
Both the Cass and Carroll County Prosecutors are working with the State Police on this case.
Davidson is being held on bond in the Carroll County Jail. Shafer added he is also on bond for the molestation charges in Cass County.
However, Davidson will get no bond for the probation violation warrant.
