Greatest # of Consecutive Days Temperature Bottomed Out At This Number..........Greatest # of Days Between Occurrences of Low at Least This Cold

Some of the rough, very cold winters show up well in this data set (1880-81; 1884-85; 1901-02; 1904-05; 1917-18; 1962-63; 1977-78; 1981-82; 1984-85; December 1989; 2017-18).  Many of the mild years show up, as well (1930s to 40s especially..........1918-19; 1929; 1931-32; 1937-1938; 1945-46; 1949-50; 2011-12).

For example, this shows that the greatest number of consecutive days with a low temperature of at least -20 is 2 & that time is February 13-15, 1905.  It would be 21,295 days later that temperatures would drop to at least -20 (the longest stretch on record).
