LINDEN, Ind. (WLFI) - Great news for families looking for something local to do with the kids! The Linden Depot Museum has announced it's reopening plan for the summer.
It will officially reopen on Friday, July 3rd. It will be open on Fridays, Saturday's and Sunday's through the end of October from noon to 5 p.m.
Leaders at the museum have been hard at work during the shutdown. All additional mechanical parts of the steam engine have been installed. The full-sized replica of the 1837 Norris Steam Engine is almost complete.
The museum also acquired five vintage-era street lamps installed along the promenade, giving the museum an authentic glow at night.
Additionally, the HO model train display in the HO building has been completed with the circus tents finished and installed.
