BROOKSTON, Ind. (WLFI) — Brookston's annual Apple Popcorn Festival has been canceled for 2020.
Organizers for the event cite legal advisers and medical advisers as having a role in the decision to cancel the event during the coronavirus pandemic.
Leaders are hopeful the event will be back in 2021.
The event committee wants booth and food vendors to know if they rented a spot for this year, it will carry over for next year's event. However, those that would like a refund can find the information on how to get that by clicking here.
The event was scheduled to take place on the third Saturday of September.
