LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A Lafayette man is convicted of two counts of possessing child pornography. Brian Port, 48, was found guilty by a jury Wednesday.
The case began when Google reported one of its users had images of child pornography on their account. As News 18 previously reported, prosecutors said there were several images of girls younger than 12 on Port's account. Lafayette police arrested Port on March 6, 2019 at a home in the 1100 block of S. 5th Street.
Port's sentencing is set for March 16th.
