LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Police are investigating an early morning robbery in Lafayette.
According to Sergeant Matt Gard, it happened just before 5:00 a.m. Monday morning at the Shell Gas Station on South 4th Street.
He says the clerk was working inside the store, when a man with a covering over his face grabbed him by the throat, displayed a knife and demanded money. The robber was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
