LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Lafayette City Council members, the clerk and the mayor are all getting sworn into office Monday before their meeting.
As we previously reported all council members were re-elected.
Cindy Murray and Mayor Roswarski were also re-elected.
Judge Steve Meyer will be at the city building to conduct the ceremony.
Mayor Roswarski said it's good to get this done before the end of the year and it shows the good work the council has been able to do.
"I think people are happy with the job we are doing," said Roswarski. "I think they know we have a group of people that understand the vision we need when it comes to infrastructure, when it comes to quality of life initiatives, when it comes to public safety, when it comes to being good stewards of their money."
The swearing-in ceremony will happen at 5:45 p.m. Monday in the city building.
