Lafayette Police investigate shots fired overnight

Although several shots were fired, police told News 18 no one was injured.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)-Police in Lafayette are putting the pieces together to figure out a shots fired incident that started late Thursday night.

The shots were fired near Ruger Street in Lafayette, which is near Tortoise & The Hair Styling.

Although several shots were fired, police told News 18 no one was injured. We were also told no damage was done to any of the nearby homes.

News 18 found out one car was struck by the gunfire, although police are still looking at how many times it was struck.

As of Friday morning, officers said they don't have any specific suspects, but do have several leads they'll be looking into.
