Lafayette K-9 will receive new vest

A local Indiana State Police K-9 will soon have a new bullet and stab protective vest.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A local Indiana State Police K-9 will soon have a new bullet and stab protective vest. K-9 Jordy is based out of the Lafayette post. Jordy and his handler, Trooper Jared McQueary, are graduates of the 2016 ISP K-9 class.

Vested Interest in K9s Inc. is donating the vest, along with an anonymous sponsor. Jordy should have the vest in the next eight to ten weeks.
