Lafayette Jeff pauses boys basketball season due to COVID-19

One positive COVID-19 case on the Lafayette Jeff boys basketball roster has paused all team activities for two weeks.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — One positive COVID-19 case on the Lafayette Jeff boys basketball roster has paused all team activities for two weeks. Athletic Director Joe Hernandez confirmed that Jeff would resume the '20-'21 season on December 24th.

Games against Logansport (12/18) and Indianapolis Washington (12/19) have been either canceled or postponed.

Jeff most recently defeated Hammond Morton, 92-44, last Saturday evening.

The Bronchos have an unblemished, (6-0) record in the 2020 season. Jeff is led by senior Brooks Barnhizer, who averages 33.3 points, 11 rebounds per game.
