LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — It's a memorable holiday for some area high schoolers.

The oldest Thanksgiving Day Parade in the country had a performance from a local band.

Lafayette Jeff's band played through Market Street in Philadelphia.

Jeff's band had been preparing for this performance since state finals.

The nearly 100-year-old, 1.4 mile path was full of balloons, floats and performers.

On the band's Twitter it says the members went off to experience the Big Apple for the day.

Congratulations Bronchos!
